KJ’s Lisbon-Style Vinegar BBQ Sauce

Makes a little over 1 cup

 

Ingredients

1 cup apple cider vinegar
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon squeezable buttery spread
1 tablespoon honey
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes

Preparation

Mix all the ingredients together in a small saucepan on the stovetop. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring to combine thoroughly. Let cool, cover, and store in the refrigerator.
