Unlike most grills , every Kamado Jan grill is supplied with all the essential accessories INCLUDED to get you started.
Chicken Sitter
Similar idea as the well-known “beer chicken” concept, but as usual, KJ has taken it to the next level. Keep the full chicken upright for super crispy skin, while your favourite liquid inside the Chicken Sitter adds moisture and flavour to the chicken internally. Step it up by adding fresh herbs, garlic, lemon wedges etc. to the liquid.
Weather Proof Cover
Protect your KJ from the elements. Only use once the grill has completely cooled.
Ash Tool
Incorporate hot coals with new charcoal or stir burnt charcoal to loosen the ash before the night start-up.
BBQ Glove
Handle warm items safely. Not flame resistant.
Divide & Conquer Frame
Multilevel frame to hold the ceramic heat deflector plates and half-moon stainless steel grids in place. This frame rests on the top edge of the fire ring.
2x Half Moon Grids
Part of the Divide & Conquer Set. High quality, 304 grade stainless steel grids.
2x Deflector Plates
Part of the Divide & Conquer Set. For indirect heat cooking at lower temps for extended periods of time.
Grid Gripper
Grips the grids securely for easy re-positioning or moving to another level.
Leg Stand
Powder coated leg set with caster wheels, two of which are lockable.
2x Side Shelves
These trays hook onto the edge of the Kamado Jan for handy work surfaces. One of the trays include a handy set of 4 hooks to hand your braai tools.
Drip Tray Holder
Part of the Divide & Conquer Set. This holder can accommodate a round potjie as well as a drip tray to contain the juices of meat cooking above.
Cooking Grid
An additional grid which can fit on the top level of the D&C frame or directly on the fire ring for high heat searing. The grid also has an access door should you need to add more charcoal.
